Perry High School Class of 2024 Graduation is this Friday, May 17 at 7 p.m. in the Maroon Athletic Center, located at 903 North 15th Street. Yearbook students have been busy capturing all our spring activities and state sports to include in this year's Yearbook! With that being said, the complete 2023-24 HS/JH Yearbook will be available in June. Students will receive an email when they’re ready to pick up.

Junior High students attending the trip to see the opening night of Mamma Mia on Tuesday, May 21 -- the bus is leaving the MAC at 5:30 p.m. If you are unable to make it, please contact Coach Hayes. Special thanks to the Perry Education Foundation for the grant to fund this experience!

UPDATE: The show will go on! Perry 8th-12th graders are invited to attend the FCA end-of-year meeting on Thursday, May 16. Due to muddy/wet conditions, there will not be games and food truck, but Coach Rupp and OSU Athletes still want to speak to students. Go enjoy the guest speakers!

Rounding out the school year with one more special shoutout! May is Better Speech and Hearing Month and we're grateful for the professionals who provide speech therapy services here at PPS! Thank you for the work you do with our students - you are changing lives! We are fortunate to have two on staff:
• Alicia Bynum- Speech Pathologist
• Madi Graham- Speech Pathologist Assistant
Each May, this annual event is recognized nationally by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) to raise awareness about the significance of hearing and speech health.

The last day of school for Perry Maroons is Wednesday, May 15! Students will be dismissed early at 2:00pm. Please follow normal dismissal procedure at all school sites. Have a great summer!

Perry Maroons fall 4-0 to defending state champ, Washington Warriors, in the class 3A state championship game today in Shawnee. Although it was a heartbreaker, the 2024 Maroons have left their mark as the only team in PHS history to ever claim the state runner-up title! An epic season to remember! Incredibly PROUD of the entire team and coaches! Congrats!
