Through a grant we received from HungerFree Oklahoma, every student in PreK-8th grade will receive a bag of fresh fruit & vegetables to take home this Friday, Nov. 22. In the spirit of the season of giving and in an effort to support the mission of ending hunger in Oklahoma, this is a gift to our students and families. Inside each bag you’ll find recipes for healthy snacks and info on HungerFree Oklahoma and SNAP. If you have questions or would like to learn more about SNAP benefits, please contact Joshua Bell, who is now on staff part-time at PPS as our SNAP Coordinator.

The annual ‘Meet a Wrestler’ night is Monday, Dec. 2 at the MAC at 6pm. The PHS & PJH Maroons & Lady Maroons wrestling teams will be introduced & coaches will discuss the upcoming season. Wrestlers will also autograph team posters. For entry into the event, guests are asked to bring new or gently used towels & boys/girls body wash to support the athletes during wrestling season.

Save the date! Student-athlete signing day ceremony will be Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 1:30pm in the BOE Meeting room (old JH). Family, teammates and friends welcome! Congrats to these six PHS seniors who have committed to play at the next level - we are proud of you!

Perry Public Schools will be closed for Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 25-29, 2024

The rescheduled date for HS picture retakes is this Thursday, Nov. 21. Underclassmen will be called out of class by intercom. Seniors can stop by anytime between 10am-1pm.

Last Wednesday, Nov. 13 the Perry Maroon Special Olympic team traveled to Frontier Schools to compete in the Individual Skills Basketball Competition. Everyone won a ribbon and did a great job!

Monday, November 18: Due to severe storms this morning, Perry Public Schools will have a delayed start at 9am to allow the storm to pass.

All four Perry Public School site offices have donation boxes set out for coat drive donations. Coats, hoodies, gloves, warm hats, scarves and socks are accepted in all sizes, from infant to adult. Please drop off donations by Nov. 20! **The community coat drive distribution event in on Thursday, Nov. 21 at the FB&T Event Center 5-6pm. Open to all who need free winter wear!

Dec. 17th is the annual 4th grade musical and the Maroon Melody Makers concert. 4th graders will present "Holly Jolly Jukebox" at 6pm, followed by the Maroon Melody Makers choir concert to get you in the holiday spirit! 🎼🎄
