Perry Wrestling Senior Night this Tuesday, Jan. 31
All senior wrestlers, mat maids, and cheerleaders will be recognized on Tuesday, January 31 at the Maroon Athletic Center. Perry High School will welcome both Sperry and Kingfisher to town for junior high and high school duals.
January 31 was originally scheduled to just be against Kingfisher, but the boys’ Sperry dual from last week’s weather cancellation has been added to makeup the dual. The evening will be jam packed with both boys and girls wrestling. The order of events follows and times are approximate.
- 4pm: Boys JH vs. Sperry
- 5pm: Boys HS vs. Sperry
- Girls JH/HS vs. Kingfisher
- Boys JH vs. Kingfisher
- SENIOR RECOGNITION
- Boys HS vs. Kingfisher
The outcome of the high school boys dual against Sperry will dictate the seeding for dual state.
Make plans to get out and support your Maroons and Lady Maroons on senior night in their last regular season home dual! And, don’t forget to fill up at the concession stand to support the Perry Band boosters.

Looking ahead, fans will have one more chance to see the Maroons in action at home as Perry will host the boys regional wrestling tournament slated for February 17-18 at the Maroon Athletic Center. Check the school website for more information on that as details become available.
