Before you attend a junior high or high school basketball game this season, please keep in mind the new rule changes from NFHS that are in effect. Fans are asked to be patient with officials and scoreboard operators as everyone adjusts to the changes.
New rules follow:
• Fouls: No more 1-and-1 free throws
• Bonus will be two shots
• Bonus begins at five fouls
• Team goals will reset each quarter
• Scoreboard will show a max of five fouls per quarter
