The boys team placed 5th with a score of 214. The team includes Ethan Cecil, Lee Hulet, Kannon Proctor, Ulrich Pricer, and Kian Thompson. Kian tied for 4th place with a 42 and Ethan placed 9th with a 46.
The PJH Lady Maroons have two golfers from the sixth grade this year, Brynlee Belveal and Miley Houghton. They are enjoying trying something new and gaining experience. Competing in the Sperry tournament was a good start to the season for them to learn and grow.
Local fans can take in a day of golf and support these young Maroons on April 8 when they host the Perry Junior High golf tournament at Perry Golf & Country Club .
