Perry Public Schools benefits as OnCue customers raise $20,564 for schools through charitable cup program
OnCue teamed up with customers to raise $20,564 total for 24 public school districts in Oklahoma through the company’s charitable cup program. Customers purchased 268 cups at the local convenience store (Sooners Corner) from July through September, contributing 50 cents per cup to Perry Public Schools. OnCue has raised a total $1,443 for the Perry school district since the launch of the program in 2018. Through donations and in-kind giving, OnCue continues to further its mission to support the leaders and innovators of tomorrow.
"Supporting local schools is one of our greatest privileges at OnCue," said Laura Aufleger, president of OnCue. "We know that every dollar counts toward shaping the future of our communities, and it's inspiring to see customers join us in our mission to uplift and encourage students across the state.”
OnCue introduced specialty charitable cups in 2018 in response to the teacher walkout, aiming to encourage essential education funding for schools. Although the cups were a small gesture toward a larger cause, OnCue has continued to offer them in support of the dedicated individuals within the Oklahoma school system.
The program has raised more than $145,000 over the past six years for local schools in Oklahoma and Houston, Texas. OnCue is proud to assist local education systems in driving future generations forward with the resources and materials needed to succeed.
Chad Wilson, Superintendent of Perry Public Schools commented, “We appreciate the generosity of OnCue contributing to our school district for past several years. Every dollar helps make an impact on the programs and opportunities we are able to provide our students."
The cup program plans to return in the third quarter of 2025.
