2024-2025 All-Conference Basketball Team Announced
The 89er Conference recently released All-Conference basketball accolades for the 2024-2025 season.
Perry High School Lady Maroon seniors, Bonnie Jo Childs and Sarah Davison were named to the All-Conference team.
Childs averaged 17.9 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 3 assists per game this season. She also hit 1,500 total career points in early February. She has committed to play softball at Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
Davison averaged 21.8 points per game, 6.1 rebounds, and 4.1 assists. She reached 1,000 career points during her senior season. She will continue her basketball career at Oklahoma Baptist University next year.
Announced as All-Conference honorable mention for the Maroons was senior, Tajon Williams. His senior season stats included an average of 9 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists per game. He has signed to play football at Southern Nazarene University next year.
Schools included in the 89er Conference are Alva, Blackwell, Chisholm, Frontier, Newkirk, Perry, and Tonkawa. There will not be an 89er Conference All Star game held this year.
