Back to School Night
The Perry Public Schools Back-to-School Night is scheduled for Tuesday, August 10 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Students and families will visit their student’s school site to view their classroom, meet teachers, and prepare for the first day of school.
Elementary students should bring their school supplies and go to their homeroom. Teachers may have additional paperwork for parents/guardians to complete.
Junior high students will go to the junior high school front lobby area to receive their class schedule upon enrollment verification, supply lists, locker assignments, and are welcome to tour the building.
High school students will report to the PHS main lobby area. They will receive their class schedule upon enrollment verification, supply lists, sports passes, and can purchase a $10 parking permit. Please bring the student’s vehicle information and tag number for the parking permit.
This is also a good time to discuss with staff any health-related issues, and complete necessary medical forms for asthma and medications.
During Back-to-School Night, all students will have the opportunity to pre-order 2021-2022 yearbooks. The elementary and junior high schools will also have T-shirts available for purchase.
The first day of school is Thursday, August 12. At this time, face coverings are a personal choice and not required going into the new school year. However, it is still federal law that students riding school buses must wear a face covering. Other COVID-related protocols remain, such as social distancing, assigned classroom seating charts, hand sanitizing, and regular facility disinfection routines.
