Parent & Community
There are a variety of ways for parents and community members to be involved or volunteer in school activities.
- Attend Events, such as:
- Elementary: Back-to-School Night, Arts & Authors Night, Bingo Nights, PPT Dinners, Penny Arcade, Musicals, Choir Concerts, Science Fair, Book Fairs, STEM Events, Awards Assemblies
- Junior High: Back-to-School Night, Book Fair, Band Concerts, Sporting Events, STEM Events, FFA Activities, Awards Assembly
- High School: Back-to-School Night, Band Concerts, Sporting Events, Homecoming, FAFSA Workshop, FFA Activities, Prom & After Prom Event, Awards Assembly
- Eat lunch with your elementary age child on Land Run day every September
- Get involved in the elementary PPT group
- Volunteer at elementary Holiday Shop every December
- Schedule a Parent/Teacher Conference (Fall and Spring)
- Provide meals/snacks to staff during P/T Conferences or Appreciation Days
- Serve on a parent committee
- Serve on the district-wide strategic planning committee
- Volunteer to be a state testing proctor
- Be a member of a focus group
- Be a substitute teacher
- Attend a school board meeting
- Ask your child’s site principal how you can be involved!
